Ed leadership 630Educational Leadership (EL) 630 was the first year of my internship experience for the Master's in Educational Leadership at Oakland University. EL 630 allowed me to begin to hold different conversations and informal meetings with my administration about their day to day role within the school. In preparation for EL 630, I created a plan of work, where I identified several areas within the ISLLC (Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium) Standards to focus on for my internship experience. My administrator at Thompson Middle School, Dr. Josha Talison conducted my evaluation from that experience. The report also included the items that he and I worked on together. I too, wrote a reflective report from my experience of my first year as an intern.

Ed leadership 640EL 640 is the second year of internship for Master's in Educational Leadership at Oakland University. I completed this second year working under my principal at Pembroke Elementary School in Birmingham. With the change in my position from the classroom teacher to an Instructional Specialist, I have had to recreate my plan of work. Again, I tied my work to the ISSLC (Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium) Standards. Colette Ivey wrote my evaluation based on my experience as well. My reflective report from this experience can also be found on this website.
